About Us
OUR STORY
MCS Connect was founded in January 2000 by Managing Director Wayne Harry. Born and raised in Gippsland, Victoria, Wayne spent four years travelling and working within the telecommunications industry in the UK and Europe in the mid to late 1990s before establishing Metropolitan Communication Services (now known as MCS Connect) on his return.
The experience and insight he gained on his travels, along with his computer sciences background and extensive knowledge of telecommunications services in Australia, provided the ideal foundation for the business. Over the last 20 years, we have continued to evolve to meet the rapidly changing technology and compliance requirements of the telecommunications industry.
From one employee with a van and a vision, we have grown to become a leading provider of telecommunications installations, documentation and home wiring in Victoria. Our 25 qualified field staff and fleet of vehicles are fully supported by our expert team in the office. We are committed to embracing and adapting to every new chapter in telecommunications and continue to look for new and innovative ways to deliver exceptional service to our valued customers.
